I was honoured when my favourite vegan, Richgail of AstigVegan, nominated me for the Versatile Blogger Award.  If you read my blog regularly, you know that I was inspired by Richgail and TJ to adopt a plant-based diet. I enjoy their veganized Filipino recipes, restaurant reviews, 'meeting' vegans around the world, and reading about their daily journey. Whenever I'm tempted to 'hop off' the vegan wagon, I read their blog and hop right back on.  Thank you for the nomination and the inspiration, AstigVegan!

Finally, here are seven things about me (that you'll soon wish you didn't know):

1. I'm what you'd call an improvisational cook. The dishes I make are hit or miss. Mostly misses.
2. I know the words to many Broadway show tunes, old and new. I'd prove it to you but you really wouldn't want to hear me sing. 
3. I'm a romantic. I believe in soul mates, love at first sight, all that cheesy stuff. 
4. I am starting at least 2 new careers this year, including top real estate agent of multi-million dollar properties (go big) and Bikram yoga teacher. But my real dream is to be a personal shopper for Jcrew.
5. I actually have my 'Free Pass' list written on a piece of paper somewhere, because you never know. Included on the current list: Fassbender, RG, Patrick Wilson. Of course, the list changes often. 
6. I have scary encyclopedic knowledge of useless trivia. You want me to be your partner in Trivial Pursuit.
7. I was a long-time member of the Fiesta Filipina Dance Troupe, but I'm a horrible dancer. In all those years I didn't get past bamboo clapper for tinikling. I believe the dance troupe kept me on because of my personality. Ha!
